heart pounding
This prednisone is not fun.
I take all eight pills and then have to lie down so as not to immediately vomit (as this is, we know through experience, a truly awful experience). Then, I feel slightly nauseated all day. My mouth is invaded by the most bitter taste, all day — not less gruesome than an underripe persimmon.
A few hours later, the heart palpitations begin. Rather like being scared by someone shooting off a gun and murdering someone or some other suitably gruesome innately terrifying act every scintilla of every second of the entire day. Somehow I, who can usually do this at will, cannot get my heart ot quiet at all.
And I am tired. Tired tired tired. And yet also incredibly awake. And anxious.
And then there are the six pills of antibiotics and steroid and antibiotic drops to actually put in the eye. Guess who knows you can taste the horribleness of steroid drops through your tear ducts? I do.
I knew I did not like drugs.
If it were not my eye I'd stop taking them.
